He’s just a puppy, but he’s huge.
Some kind of hound/lab mix named Bosco.
Had to pull a still from a video because he’s too hyper. He loves to be right in the middle of whatever your trying to do. Trying to build a stone wall? He’ll be standing on the rock you’re trying to shape with one paw, your hammer with another, and trying to steal your gloves at the same time.
Also, I saw this yesterday:

When I brought my Lab home, he was just over a year old and already weighed over 60 pounds. Now he weighs about 85.

I think he’s about a year old, but I don’t really know. Probably 75 pounds?

Mine’s two years and she’s 80-ish. Labs can be gloriously squishy lumps

A tall boy! I love tall Labs.
He’s probably about the same size as my boy Lloyd. Lloyd may have a few pounds on him though.
Nice looking Toyota too.

He’s got a lot of hound in him too, although his personality is all lab.
The Toyota is mint.

Gotta love big labs. I’ve got a 3 year old chocolate and he’s somewhere in the ball park of 115 lbs. most of it’s muscle too.

I can see a bit of the Hound in the shape of the head. That’s a mix I can see doing well.
Looks like he’s in that awkward stage where the size isn’t quite registered with the brain yet.

I usually first see him when he’s about 15 feet away from me... at a full sprint coming at me. Not a big deal for me (6' 230lbs) but the girls occasionally get run over. He loves to play, and doesn’t bite at all.

I’m sure he’ll end up in that ballpark, his paws are still pretty big for his size.

I think one of our dogs is a lab, pit, hound, something mix. Goofy as can be but he I some of the most loveable dogs ever.

Oh yeah, Bosco is a big lovable dork. I’ve been around labs and pointers (both hunting dogs) for a long time and they’re great. Definitely smarter than golden retrievers.

I don't really have much experience around golden retrievers except that our last was a yellow lab with a bit of golden retriever in her. She was the smartest, most gentle dog we ever had. I recall that when we first got her she was an outside dog, it stayed that way for three years. After 3 years she came inside and only had one accident afterwards. She also had a habit of moving her mouth when people would talk to her, she would get angry adm walk away in a huff when words didn't come out for her.

Some of my neighbors had a German Shepard which was an incredibly smart and lovable dog. When the GS died they got two Goldens. They are nice dogs, but incredibly dumb.

Germans seem to be hit or miss. I'm a lab man myself, and beagles.
